Spring Holiday - Istanbul Aku Datang!! Part 1
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Hi again, people.
Stuck doing my statistic on excel, so I'm going to update my blog.
So, The first day in Istanbul was a blast.
Cheeewah, ayat A+ BI SPM tu pakai.
Kahkahkah, Mim xbetul.
Okay, sila abaikan otak saya yang tengah mereng sebab kira nombor guna excel banyak sangat dari semalam.
Anyway, we woke up and had our first breakfast provided by the hostel.
Bread, jam, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber and jam spread |
And we met a few of Indonesian's uncles who's staying in the same hostel as us, so we were chatting with them for a while.
They just get back from performing umrah and after that, they went to Egypt for 6 days before spending the last 3 days of their holidays in Istanbul.
So after chattering, we finished our breakfast and made our way to the Arasta Bazaar.
The sell some stuffs like Istanbul carpet.
Hahaha, I don't like carpet anyway.
Then, we started our Istanbul's exploration.
We started with Blue Mosque.
Happy lepas dapat matahari. Hehe |
Before we go inside, there's a seller selling books and postcard about Istanbul
He said he loved Malaysia bla bla bla and gave us the books and postcard as gift.
And he asked for some money.
I gave him 5 TYL and he asked for more.
I gave him another 10 TYL, as he said he would give me back my 5 TYL.
But he kept it.
Well, mungkin rezeki dialah tu.
Lepas tu, sumpah aku rasa nak sepak ja orang2 yang dok nak bagi hadiah benda yang dia jual kat aku.
Hahahaha.
Okay, after calming myself down, we made our way inside the Blue Mosque.
Ramai kan orang? |
It is also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
Bukan Masjid Biru Shah Alam, okay?
Haha.
Waiting to go inside |
Main2 dgn camera dulu |
Okay, Mim dah gila camera... "=,= |
See how much people are waiting to go inside? |
The mosque from the waiting area |
Baru separuh jalan |
Bosan beratur, tangkap gambaq kejap... |
Tempat ambil wuduk |
Berjaya masuk dalam! |
The interior |
Tempat solat |
Asyik gambar pemandangan ja... Hehe :P |
Proof shot lepas solat tahiyatul masjid. Sempat lagi tu, Mim oh Mim... "=,= |
After spending a while in the Blue Mosque, we made our way to next destination.
Hagia Sophia
Well, screw me up as I didn't even know what' the best place in Istabul.
I just do some research before I went there.
And I didn't even know that Istanbul is the city by the seaside... T_T
Ayasofia - Turkish language |
Well, Ayasofia is a church, later turned into mosque and now is a museum.
And it cost us 25 TYL to go inside.
As usual, beratur lagi untuk beli tiket... |
The interior |
Written : Saidina Umar Al-Farouq r.a. |
Me again... |
Naik tingkat atas with dim light, go go! |
Panjat, jangan tak panjat |
I think it's wrote : Saidina Usman r.a and Saidina Hassan r.a. |
The view from Upstairs |
A proof of the church before |
Written : ALLAH and Saidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq r.a. |
Sibuk je mak cik kat sebelah tu... "=,= |
Posing time!!
Okay, dah tu. "=,=
Syok sendiri sangat kot...
Anyway, after that, we went to eat our lunch.
And after lunch, we continue our exploration.
Nak tunjuk monumen kat belakang tu sebenaqnya... tapi tangan tak cukup panjang and monumen tu tinggi sangat... |
Sambil jalan2 ke Topkapi palace, sempat snap gambaq Tulip dulu.
Spring tulips in Istanbul |
Spring tulips in Istanbul, but I love lavender more... |
The next destination is Topkapi Palace.
Ramai betul manusia kat sini sebab tengah cuti Easter and dah start panas kan.
So, redah jelah.
And it cost us 25 TYL as well to get inside.
The main gate |
See the people? |
It was so big that we are so tired from exploring it.
It has a lot of chambers and display room displaying all the historic things like sword, throne and almost everything were made of pure gold!!
Kaya sungguh sultan dedulu nih.
Sekarang pakai kaler gold ja.
Hehehehehe.
Siap ada askar lagi |
And I think the sultan in Istanbul love the sea. Almost all palace including Topkapi palace is built by the sea. Well, I quite understand why cause I love the sea too! |
The views of The Asian side where most of the people live. |
Mim by the sea |
Is this a new version of lavender? hahaha |
Love the color |
Seindah ciptaan Ilahi. :) |
Field of purple flowers... |
Tuan kamera menyibuk sekali... \O/ |
The ship sailing by the Bosphorus Sea |
Another angle of Mim by the sea. |
The bridge. Nampak tak? |
One of the chamber in Topkapi Palace. |
Tgh try tangkap gambar diri sendiri dgn bangunan kat belakang tu |
Separuh? |
Bumbung hilang... |
Pintu saja. |
Okay, give up... "=,= |
Bye2 Topkapi Palace, dah penat dah jalan. |
So, that's the end of my first day journey in Istanbul.
We when back, have our dinner and sleep.
Penat okay jalan2 walaupun pergi tiga tempat sahaja.
We will make a tour around Istanbul by bus the next morning.
Well, everything's fine on the first day.
What make me happy is I could hear the azan again for every prayer, not merely a computer recorded like what I used to hear for the past six months in Coventry...
Anyway, I have been to Spain.
Spain is the exactly opposite that Istanbul.
If we have a mosque turning into cathedral in Spain, in Istanbul we have a cathedral turned into mosque.
The only thing that is the same is, everything is already turned into a tourist spot as a museum.
I continue my journey after class tomorrow.
So for the mean time, let's bid a farewell for a while okay?
I have more excel stats exercise to do.
See ya.
Wassalam.
